CLASS SYLLABUS (200+ HOURS)

The TYTT will consist of 26 "lessons." Each lesson may be as long as 6 hours of "face-to-face" instruction as well as some "homework" assignments. Your "lessons" may be twice-weekly, weekly or as agreed between you and your facilitator. You can confine your homework or outside study to the minimum or you may chose to study each and every topic for hours, perusing multiple sources. In order to move from one lesson to the next, you must demonstrate to your facilitator that you have a very firm grasp of the topics of discussion, a competency for the asanas being studied and a progressive competency to teach. Your facilitator will do everything possible to make sure that you reach these goals. Assessments of your grasp of the topics may be oral or written. Your student teaching will be coordinated with your facilitator who will work within your time limitations, if any.
