Welcome to this web site and Traditional Yoga Teacher Training. This web site is dedicated to you. It is my gift back to Yoga for all that Yoga has given me. Margaret Meade said, “Never doubt that a small and dedicated group of people can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.” As Yoga students and practitioners, we may not be able to change the whole world at once, but we can certainly make this world a better place through the practice of Yoga and, as teachers, by spreading the Yoga Lifestyle. Yoga has never been simply an exercise class but has always been a path to enlightenment. Although you and I may never reach enlightenment, we can benefit greatly by developing calmer minds and a more relaxed bodies. Daily Yoga practice provides us with this in a very short time, just a few months. Teachers can watch dedicated students change, becoming calmer, more rational and happier. It is a wonderful phenomenon to witness and to
feel a part of.
There are two sections to this web site. The first is an explanation of the Yoga teacher training offered by Traditional Yoga Teacher Training , a Yoga Alliance registered school. The second section of this web site includes the Yoga Dictionary of quotes and Teacher Handouts. The dictionary is designed to assist students who are studying Yoga and writers who like to use quotes when preparing articles for publication. The Teacher Handouts provide teachers with samples of handouts for teaching the ideas of Yoga.
